These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and the repair services and text message program provided by Sun West Transmissions and General Auto Repair (“Sun West Transmissions”, “we”, “us” or “our”), 6116 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301. By using our website, requesting an estimate, authorizing repairs or opting in to text messages, you agree to these Terms.
1. Use of This Website
You may use this website to learn about our services, request estimates and contact us. You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, or submit false information. Website content, including text, logos and images, belongs to Sun West Transmissions and may not be copied without permission. Prices, specials and information on the website are general and may change without notice.
2. Estimates and Repair Authorization
Estimates are based on the information available at the time and may change after inspection or diagnosis. We will not perform work beyond the authorized amount without your approval, given in person, by phone, in writing or by text reply. Diagnostic and inspection charges, if any, will be disclosed before work begins.
3. Payment
Payment is due when the work is complete and before the vehicle is released, unless other terms are agreed in writing. We accept the payment methods posted at our shop. Financing, when offered, is provided by third-party lenders under their own terms.
4. Vehicle Pickup and Storage
We will notify you when your vehicle is ready. Vehicles not picked up within a reasonable time after notice may be subject to storage charges and to the remedies allowed under Arizona law, including a mechanic’s lien for unpaid charges.
5. Parts and Warranty
Parts and labor warranties are provided as described on your invoice and on our Warranty page. Replaced parts may be returned to you on request unless they are under a core exchange or warranty return. Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, accidents, neglect, or repairs made by others.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of use, towing, or rental costs, except as stated in a written warranty. We are not responsible for personal items left in vehicles.
7. SMS / Text Message Program Terms
Program description: Sun West Transmissions sends text messages to customers who opt in, about their own vehicle and repair: appointment reminders, repair status updates, estimates and repair approvals, and invoice and payment reminders.
How to opt in: customers opt in verbally, on the phone or at our service counter, and confirm by replying YES to our confirmation text. See our Text Message Consent page.
Message frequency: message frequency varies, usually a few messages per repair visit.
Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless provider for details about your plan.
Opt out: you can cancel the SMS service at any time. Text STOP to the number that texts you. We will send one message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further messages. To rejoin, reply START.

Carrier liability: carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent not required: agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or service.
Privacy: we never share or sell your mobile number or text message consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
8. Privacy
Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Maricopa County, Arizona.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the date above will be updated.
